PICU Opens At VCMC

A new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit has just opened in Ventura.

The Ventura County Medical Center opened the doors to the new PICU on Valentines day.

Doctor John Marcum is leading the team.

Dr. Marcum says the much needed unit will allow very sick children to be cared for closer to home.

A grand opening celebration is in the works.
