Neal Andrews Joins Race

A second city council member has joined the race for supervisor in Ventura County.

Ventura City Councilman Neal Andrews plans to run for Steve Bennett's seat.

Bennett is running for Congress in the new 26th District.

Ventura City Councilwoman Christy Weir and retiring Ventura County Fire Chief Bob Roper is also running for the first district seat.

Andrews will make a formal announcement at Ventura City Hall this Wednesday.
