Motorcyclist Critically Hurt in Crash

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after crashing into a light pole. Officers say it happened just before 11:30 on Saturday. They say a 21-year-old male driver was rounding a curve at the intersection of Fifth and C streets in Oxnard.

The driver lost control and hit a curb, causing him to crash into a light pole. He was taken to the hospital where he is said to be in critical condition. No one else was hurt in the crash.
