Teenager Dead After Drive-By-Shooting

Oceano - An Oceano teenager is dead after a drive by shooting took place Thursday night.

It happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of 21st St.

According to San Luis Obispo Sheriff's officials, multiple shots were fired from a vehicle striking Gabriel Salgado, 17, in the head. Salgado later died at Marian Medical Center Friday morning.

A 14-year-old male was also struck in the leg and was treated at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital.

No suspects have been arrested.
