Shell Beach - Police have identified the woman who was killed after crossing the street Saturday night.

Shell Beach Police say Tricia Rittger, 39, was crossing the street on Shell Beach Drive to go to the Cliffs Resort when she was hit by a large SUV.

Rittger was transported to the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
