Nursing Director Changes Plea One Day Before Trial

San Luis Obispo - A former nursing director of an intensive care unit at a Templeton Hospital has changed his plea one day before his trial was set to begin.

Donald Baker pleaded no contest Wednesday for several charges such as lewd acts on a child and possession of child pornography.

Baker will be sentenced on Jan. 18. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and would have to register as a sex offender.
