Construction To Begin Thursday For New Tech High School

Nipomo - Construction for a new tech high school will break ground Thursday afternoon.

Lucia Mar Unified School District officials say the dedication for the new Central Coast New Tech High School will take place at noon. The event will also honor a generous donor and local and state representatives will be on site for the groundbreaking.

The construction site is located at 525 N. Thompson in Nipomo.

The school will open on Aug. 16, 2012.
