Tdap Mobile Clinic

Written by KEYT Assignment Desk

Santa Maria - If you're a parent with a child heading to back-to-school, the warning message is out there for "no shot, no school."

It's part of the new requirement before students enter 7th through 12th grade. The Tdap booster shot is a prevention vaccine for whooping cough.

Several schools have large banners up to remind parents to get the shots for their children. So far in the Santa Barbara Unified School District there's been about an 80 percent compliance.

A special mobile clinic will be set up at La Cumbre Junior High Monday for any student that still needs a Tdap booster. The address is 2255 Modoc Road.
