Young man has his important possessions taken but it's caught on tape

Santa Barbara - A young Santa Barbara man, trying to pull together his life after a setback, has had his back pack taken from a wall in front of his work place.

It happened while he was cleaning and turned around for a short time. The person responsible was caught on tape by a surveillance camera but so far there's no sign of the bag and the loss has hit hard.

Nick Watkins says the bag had a wallet, cash, his phone with all of his contacts in it and a new sweater. He has limited possessions and at times has had to stay at the homeless shelter.

In our "3 On Your Side" report, we tell you how this took place, show you the video at the scene and possibly what you can do to help this young man.

UPDATE: We are told people showed up at DCM Graphics to give Nick money to help him, one person even gave him a laptop computer.
