Starbucks Drawing Customers to Revitalized Center

Customers come for coffee and look at other store fronts

The grand opening of a new downtown Santa Barbara Starbucks could also be a boost for neighboring businesses. Some customers at the newly revitalized shopping center on the corner of Carrillo and De La Vina say they have stopped for a cup of coffee and are now noticing some of the other businesses nearby.

One customer was interested in getting her nails done across the lot.

The site was once going to be demolished and replaced by condos, but that deal fell apart. Now vacant store fronts are being leased to create a neighborhood center once again.
