Solar-Powered Car Exhibition

A one-of-a-kind solar-powered car will kick-off it's world tour Friday at UCSB.

Solar World will be showing off their brand new sustainable vehicle which runs solely off the power of sun.

The event is the first stop on the sports car 21,000 mile trek around the globe, where they hope to set the world record for the longest distance covered by a solar car.

The public is invited to view the car and meet the students who designed and built it.

You can also win the chance to ride along in the innovative vehicle.

The event starts at 4:00 Friday, February 3rd at UCSB's Bren School of Environmental Science.

Parking is available on campus in Lot 10.
