Written by KEYT Assignment Desk

Sheriff's Department Narcotics Detectives say they confiscated close to $9 million in marijuana from several grow sites in northern and southern Santa Barbara County.

The raids took place during the early morning hours on Monday, at a site off Tepusquet Road near Colson Canyon, and a separate site off of San Marcos Pass Road, near Kinevan Road.

Investigators say both grows were located on private property and 900 plants were confiscated during the raids.

Arrests have not been made, but detectives say they expect to make arrests connected to the grows soon.
