SLO Judge to Make Ruling on Ventura Murder Case

Written by KEYT Assignment Desk

A San Luis Obispo Judge will be in Ventura on Friday morning to preside over a hearing regarding a Ventura Superior Court Judge.

The matter stems from a motion filed by murder suspect, Brian McInerney's attorney.

The Defense attorney wants to have Ventura Superior Court Judge Charles Campbell removed from presiding over the teen's murder trial.

They claim the judge showed bias in denying the defense's request for a further delay.

Brandon McInerney is accused of killing 15-year-old Larry King at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard.
