Sunday night, Samuel L. Jackson took center stage at the Lobero Theater. Jackson was promoting his new film, "The Samaritan."
In it he portrays a man who's been locked up for decades and after getting out of prison, looks for a new start.

And just one night after taking home the Modern Masters Award here in Santa Barbara, actor Christopher Plummer was honored again.
The legendary actor won the Screen Actors Guild Award Sunday night for best supporting actor for his role in "Beginners."

Plummer strolled the red carpet Saturday night at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival where he told KEY News he's thrilled to receive the Modern Masters Award.

Viola Davis, star of "The Help," took home the Screen Actors' Guild Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. She was at the film festival Friday night to accept the award for Outstanding Performer Of The Year.
