Police Raise Money for Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation

Moustache honors handed out after a month

Written by KEYT Reporter

Santa Barbara - With a clean shave at the beginning of November, about 20 members of the Santa Barbara Police Department started growing a moustache as part of a fundraiser for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation.

After a few weeks without a razor, honors were handed out Wednesday for the best, the worst, the creepiest, the kids' choice and the Primetime moustache.

The event was held at the Union Ale restaurant on State Street.

At the end, some of the kids who were on the judging team were allowed to use electric razors to trim the moustaches.
