UPDATE: Search for Eastside Shooting Suspect

Santa Barbara - Police in Santa Barbara continue to search for a gunman involved in a shooting that happened overnight Wednesday on the Eastside.

According to police, a 16-year-old male was shot in the arm around 2 a.m., near Canada and Cacique Streets. The victim was taken to and treated at Cottage Hospital.

No arrests have been made and police are hoping someone may have seen the gunman and can provide officers with information.

Residents in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots and car speeding away from the scene.
