Santa Maria - A man who shot at local officers during a police chase in November 2009 was sentenced Thursday.

The Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office says Joseph Deleon, 36, was sentenced to 480 years to life in prison.

Deleon was found guilty of all 18 counts in November, including transportation of meth, being an active gang member and possession of a firearm.

Two other Santa Maria residents that were involved, Barbara Trevino, 51, and Albert Valdez, 32, agreed to plea deals and had no trial.
