Local Muslims Propose New Mosque

Goleta- There are nearly a thousand Muslims living in Santa Barbara County, and they are now trying to get permission to build a mosque and community center in Goleta.

So far, the proposed mosque here has not generated the kind of controversy that's been associated with the mosque project near the World Trade Center.
