Local Couples Attempt To Break World Kissing Record

Santa Barbara - Two local couples competed in the final round to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for kissing.

The winning couple came up with a strategy: kisses on the forehead. Paul Fremeau kissed Alina Evans on the forehead 254 times in one minute. The results still need to be verified by Guinness officials.

Money collected to be part of the contest goes to "Kidz for the Cure" pediatric cancer research. The winning couple received a one night stay in the presidential suite of the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara.
