Carpinteria- A registered sex offender is facing indecent exposure charges. Deputies say 61-year old Glenn Sherman Merrill of Carpinteria placed an add on Craigslist for a live-in caregiver.
An 18-year old female answered the add and agreed to move into Merrill's residence Wednesday. That night Merrill asked the teen to do more than just bathe him. The woman left the residents and reported the incident proposal to the Sheriff's Department.
Merrill is a registered sex offender and is currently in violation for failing to register his new address. Merrill was booked into county jail.
