Honor And Remember Campaign Arrives In Lompoc

Written by KEYT Anchor

He's a man on a mission. 38 states and more than 18-thousand miles later, George Lutz is in Lompoc, campaigning to create an emblem with which every patriotic American can acknowledge daily the ultimate price of freedom.

Lutz is the founder and executive director of Honor & Remember, Inc. The organization's goal is for the Honor & Remember flag to be congressionally and militarily sanctioned as a permanent symbol; to fly continuously in eternal honor and remembrance of fallen military service men and women.

Lutz's trip is focused on taking the Honor & Remember message to 49 states in all with the hope that each state legislature will join Virginia's in officially adopting the flag.

A dinner and auction with host Dennis Miller and chairwoman Bo Derek will take place this Saturday, September 11th in Lompoc. Tickets are sold out however, the public is invited to attend a breakfast at American Legion Post 211, Sunday morning, at 9am. The address is 630 North H Street in Lompoc.
