Free Movie Nights Offered Locally Tonight

Residents have the chance to see two free movies tonight.

The first is being offered at The Santa Maria Public Library.

Most of the movies will be classic films such as "Casablanca" and "Gone with the Wind."

Library officials say seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

And Starlight Cinema is presenting a free end of summer movie series for the whole community to enjoy on Santa Barbara's Sterns Wharf.

"Ferris Bueller's Day's Off" and "Back to the Future" are movies that will be shown in the coming weeks on the seaward end of the Wharf near the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company.

Featured movies will be shown every Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. through September 16th.

Parking will be free after 7:00 p.m..
