El Desfile Historico Parade Another Success

Santa Barbara - Fiesta's biggest event drew thousands of people to the streets of Santa Barbara Friday.

El Desfile Historico, the Old Spanish Days Parade, entertained large crowds along the waterfront and throughout the heart of the city for about two hours.

This year's grand Marshall for the parade was actor Ted Levine, who's starred in several Hollywood films the television hit series "Monk."

Many staked out their spots Thursday night in anticipating of getting a front row seat to one of the largest equestrian parades in the country.
