Caltrans Worker Hit By Motorcyclist

A motorcyclist on Highway 101 near Los Alamos hit a Caltrans worker this morning.

The accident happened just before 11 a.m. near the Bell Street off-ramp on Highway 101.

According to a Santa Barbara County Fire spokesman, the motorcyclist and transportation worker were taken to an area hospital with moderate injuries.

The California Highway Patrol and Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department are on scene trying to figure out what caused the collision.
