KEY Assignment: Animals In Need

They call them "man's best friend." And it's hard to deny the loyalty and love of a dog. But sometimes, people don't always treat their pets or animals as they should.

Recently someone abandoned a puppy, leaving it to die in a box. The puppy, born without its two front legs, was found and rescued in time.
"Rocky", as he became known, is just one of many dogs often in need of rescuing and adoption.

KEY News has a special report at 6 and 11 p.m. Friday on these special pets, and how you can get involved to help save them, even adopt them.
