What's Right: University Honored For Bike Paths

As another example of "What's Right" in the Tri-Counties, UC Santa Barbara was recently recognized for it's earth-friendly campus.

The League of American Bicyclists awarded the campus a Bicycle Friendly Business Gold Award.

As one of the top bicycling campuses in the country, UCSB boasts more than seven miles of bike paths, over 10-thousand bike parking spaces and multiple sustainable transportation initiatives.

The University has been honored before for it's bicycling culture-- including a Best Workplaces For Commuters award in 2002, and a top ten spot in the 2009 list of "Cool Schools" by the Sierra Club.
