SLO Authorities Re-Arrest Sex Offender

Templeton, CA-- Just as residents in the quite town of Templeton were warned of a registered sex offender living in their community, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Spokesman Rob Bryn confirms with KEY News, that man was taken into custody Wednesday night.

According to department spokesman Rob Bryn, 51-year-old, Billy Mannon was arrested after two teen girls came forward, alleging Mannon followed them in a car.

Last week, Mannon was arrested and later released for drug related charges. After learning Mannon was a registered sex offender, detectives were concerned about Mannon frequenting an area, used by girl's sports teams.

The Sheriff's Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Team posted a fliers alerting community members of Mannon's presence.

The two victims were able to pick Mannon out line-up and told authorities, that he would stare at them and follow them. According to detectives, these incidents happened over a period of several days
