Two people are dead after a horrific car crash.

It happened Wednesday at 5:17 p.m. in Simi Valley.

Authorities say three vehicles collided at an intersection in the area of Royal Avenue and Sinaloa Road.

The collision involved a Lincoln Navigator, Chevy Traverse, and Honda Civic. The driver in the Honda civic, who was only identified as a 24 year old male, died at the scene. The passenger died at the hospital.

Both names are being withheld at this time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
