New Details on School Board Member Accused of Molestation

The El Rio School District Board Member accused of continually molesting his young foster daughter, appeared in court Tuesday morning. Brian Edward Martin, 49, did not enter a plea, however it was revealed that he likely fathered a child with the victim.

Martin's wife spoke with KEY News outside the court room. She says she is divorcing Martin, and that she will continue to raise the young girl and her child, along with two other children.

The Rio School District has notified parents and is cooperating with authorities.

Martin was assigned a public defender is out on $250,000 bail. He is due back in court on March 30.
