Award Winning Producer Janis Johnson Dies at age 60

Written by KEYT Reporter

The public may have known Janis Johnson as the ticket lady.
But Johnson was also the producer who helped keep the doors of Camarillo Community Theatre open.
Johnson won a "Four Star Award" for Outstanding Production in January.
The 60 year old died suddenly Sunday after working the weekend box office for "Annie."
The season is now dedicated to Johnson.
The public is invited to Johnson's memorial at Camarillo Community Theatre on Skyway Drive this Saturday at 1pm.
