Shaving Heads To Save Lives

Ventura, CA-- Local high school students shaved their heads in solidarity alongside kids with cancer today.

Students and teachers say they've raised more than $27,000 for St. Baldrick's Cancer Research Grants, by shaving off their locks.

The event took place at Foothill Technology High School Monday afternoon. Teachers, students and sheriff's deputies are now sporting new looks.

It's not too shave your head. Another event is taking place this Saturday at the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura.
