Elections Heat Up In Santa Barbara County

The filing deadline closed Friday evening for the June primary election, and candidates that want to be in local races have made their intentions known.

In the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's race, there will be only two candidates, that election will be decided in June.

Senior Deputy District Attorney Joyce Dudley will square off against Chief Trial Deputy Josh Lynn.

In the 2nd District Supervisors race, incumbent Janet Wolf will be challenged by former Santa Barbara City Councilman Dr. Dan Secord.
