International Orchid Show Returns to Santa Barbara

The 65th Annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Show starts Friday in Santa Barbara. It is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious orchid shows in the world.

This year's event, themed "Nature in Harmony," will feature growers and orchids from all over the world. More than 70 orchid exhibits from all over the world will be on display.

There will also be ongoing demonstrations, led by experts on subjects related to orchid care. A vast selection of orchid plants, arrangements, corsages, supplies and limited edition antique orchid prints will also be available for sale.

The event is taking place at the Earl Warren Showgrounds from March 12-14. The event is open each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students with ID and free for those under the age of 12.
