Autopsy Scheduled for Body Found at Pismo Creek

An autopsy is schedule today as The Pismo Beach Police Department investigates a suspicious death after a body was found in the Pismo Creek.

Officers found the body near Ira Lease Park at 3:22 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say the body is that of a 40 year old white male.

A preliminary investigation shows the body had been at the creek for several days.

Right now the cause of death is under investigation, but it's being investigated as suspicious. The victim's identity has not been released.
