Oxnard Police Investigate String of Home Burglaries

Oxnard Police are searching for a burglar they say has hit multiple homes in recent nights, while the resident is home.

The most recent break in happened early Monday morning on the 1400 block of Kingswood Way. Police say the suspect stole property from inside the home and a vehicle as the resident slept.

Police say they received several reports of these types of burglaries during the month of February. The suspect or suspects are entering homes through unlocked doors and windows and stealing various items.

All residents are being reminded to make sure all doors and windows are locked and secure and report any suspicious activity to the police.
