Consultants Arrive at Cuesta College

Written by KEYT Producer

Consultants will arrive at Cuesta College Monday morning to assist the community college with keeping its accreditation.

The consultants will be on campus through Wednesday, to research the school and talk with community groups on campus. They are expected to visit several times throughout the next 4 months, to assist the school with its Strategic Planning.

A report submitted by the State Accrediting Commission in February 2010 stated that the 2 year college in San Luis Obispo County was in danger of losing its accreditation. Strategic Planning is one area of improvement required by the commission.
