Goleta Welcomes Ice Skating Rink

It is official! The Greater Santa Barbara Ice Skating Association now has the land to build an ice skating rink.

The land, behind the Camino Real Marketplace and near Girsh Park in Goleta, was donated Friday by Wynmark Company President Mark Linehan to Ice in Paradise and the Skating Association.

Hockey Hall of Fame player Luc Robitaille was on hand for the land donation. Local dignitaries, including Goleta Mayor Eric Onnen, was also there to welcome the rink and the organization to the city.
