The last time we visited the Avenue Flower and Gift Shop in Lompoc, the owners were on the verge of filing for bankruptcy, laying off 14 workers and losing their homes to foreclosure.

However, something remarkable happened in the days following a story aired KEY News aired about the family's troubles, which they blame the state for.

In this TipLine Investigation update, we bring you a story of compassion and caring.
