Randy And Evi Quaid Asked To Return To Court In April

Santa Barbara, CA-- Evi and Randy Quaid were expected in a Santa Barbara courtroom on Monday. However, the couple's attorney asked for a continuance and the pair will be back in court next month.

The couple are accused of running out on a $10,000 tab at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, last September.

In late December, the Quaids pleaded not guilty to several felony charges, including the defrauding of an innkeeper.

The Quaids claim they paid the past due bill. And, they are asking for an apology from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department, after the department issued arrest warrants for the couple.

Arnis Tolkes with the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office, says the couple is due back in court on April 12th, to a set a date for their preliminary hearing.
