Candidate Announces He'll Take on Rep. Lois Capps

A Santa Barbara County Republican is stepping forward, announcing his run Congress. Clark Vandeventer will run against incumbent Democrat Lois Capps.

Vandeventer, a former Reagan Ranch Deputy Director, has spent the last eight years working to preserve President Ronald Reagan's home in Santa Barbara County.

An official announcement will be made in Santa Barbara on Monday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Paseo Nuevo Mall.
