Police Need Help Identifying Computer Thieves

Christina Heller

Santa Barbara, CA-- Police hope surveillance video will help catch a group of thieves, who targeted a local high school.

Burglars smashed windows to get inside Bishop Diego High School three times over a two week period.

Just released surveillance video, shows the group canvassing the school on January 6th, 11th and 17th.

In all, 23-Mac computers were stolen or damaged. School officials do not believe the suspects are connected to the school, but say the break-ins have forced them to increase security.

The high school has spent thousands of dollars replacing the computers and adding extra security, including cameras, locks and windows with wire netting inside.
