What's Right: Local Company Donates Thousands For School Computers

Christina Heller

Santa Barbara, CA-- A local tech company is making sure local kids have access to the best technology available, and it's a part of "What's Right" in our community.

Local software distributor QAD presented Franklin Elementary students with a $24,000 check, as part of the company's Project Upgrade program.

The money will allow the school to add two computer work stations to each classroom.

Project Upgrade has also made similar grants to Harding Elementary, McKinley Elementary and Cesar Chavez Charter Schools in Santa Barbara.
