The Santa Barbara International Film Festival drew huge crowds over the weekend, but not all local businesses are cashing in. Most local hotels have vacancies. In fact, many haven't seen much of a difference with the film festival in town.

The downtown area was still packed as people waited in lines in front of several theaters. For some, getting a glimpse of their favorite movie makers is one of the reasons they never miss the annual event.
