Victims Of Alaska Airlines Flight 261, Remembered 10 Years Later

Port Hueneme, CA-- Ten years ago on Sunday, Alaska Airlines Flight 261plunged into the ocean off the coast of Ventura County.

Aviation authorities determined the cause of the crash was mechanical. They blamed the airline and the federal aviation administration for, failing to "properly oversee" the maintenance operations.

Every year family and friends of those who died in the crash, come together to remember their loved ones lost off the coast of Port Hueneme.

Many of those gathering over the past ten years, say they experience sadness and anger. Their grief has caused them to form an unbreakable bond with one another.
