Rancho Fire Update
The Rancho Fire burning in the Los Padres National Forest is now 700 acres and 50% contained, as of Sunday morning. Right now officials say it's burning in a north-easterly direction away from Paradise Road and Santa Ynez River. Officials say low winds and humidity are currently helping limit the fire from spreading.
The wildfire broke out Saturday night. No homes are threatened and there have been no injuries. Stay tuned to KEYT, channel 3 for more updates and www.keyt.com. |
