Santa Barbara Homeless Deaths

Three homeless people died over the weekend in Santa Barbara while sleeping outside, and this year already, five homeless have died.

Some are calling on city leaders to fund more shelters and outreach services.In two of the three deaths, police say they found drugs and alcohol.

But advocates say in the bigger picture there's a need for more outreach services, warming centers, and funds for mental health care.
