Children Raising Money for Cancer Foundation
A 9-year-old girl is making a big difference in the community just by selling lemonade for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation.
As the saying goes, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Avery Soreson and her friends are selling fresh-squeezed lemonade to raise money for local families with a child diagnosed with Cancer. At just .50 cents a cup Sunkists is matching all the money Avery raises up to $1,000. Other kids throughout Santa Barbara County are taking part in this annual campaign. If you'd like to squeeze into this cause just to www.sunkist.com and click on the kids link and look for "take a stand" . |
