Written by Kyra Jenkins

There's a settlement tonight in wrongful death suit involving a San Luis Obispo girl struck and killed on Halloween. Kimberly Macias died when a car hit her on Halloween in 2005 when the 8-year-old was trick or treating.
County Officials say the Macias family will receive about $100,000 total from the city of San Luis Obispo, Cal-Trans and the driver of the car that hit the little girl.
The driver pleaded no contest to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. Annie Tong- Try will have 3 years probation and her drivers license suspended for 3 years as well.
