Ventura County-- On Friday, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger paid a visit to Ventura County, to help veterans cut the ribbon on a new veterans home.

The home in Saticoy has 60 long-term, care beds for elderly and disabled veterans.

The 22-acre site is located on sacred Chumash land. Native American veterans and other from all branches of the military enjoyed a flyover, bagpipes and words of thanks for their service and sacrifice.

After touring the new home the governor joked, that it still needs exercise equipment.

A similar home recently opened in Lancaster and three more are being built in West Los Angeles, Fresno and Redding.
