Local authorities are trying to track down the suspect involved in an overnight hit and run, on foot.
The driver of a BMW was moving northbound along the 101 near Las Positas and rear-ended a blue Honda Mini Van, which sparked another accident, according to the CHP.
Both vehicles spun out and then a Toyota Camry slammed into the BMW, causing the freeway to close when the accident happened around mid-night.
One person was transported to the Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the BMW fled on foot but left his car behind. CHP Officers are still looking into the incident.
